Attorney Raymond Gaynor nets $24,000 refund for client

Posted on March 17, 2010

Attorney Raymond Gaynor today persuanded the IRS to issue a $24,000.00 refund to one of our clients. The IRS initially refused to grant the refund, stating that the refund statute of limitation had expired. Although the IRS agreed that the tax return listed this refund, the IRS was going to keep the refund because of its incorrect belief that too much time had gone by. Mr. Gaynor appealed the IRS decision and prevailed in his argument before the IRS Appeals Division. Mr. Gaynor’s efforts will net a whopping $24,000.00 refund for our clients. If the IRS has seized your refund or if you owe money to the IRS or have unfiled tax returns, call Patrick T. Sheehan & Associates at 877-4IRS LAW.
