Have Your Tax Problems “Snowballed”?

One of our clients, who is in his 50s, last filed a tax return in the mid 1990s. He had been working largely for cash and had been “flying under the IRS radar” for the last 17 years. Like most of our clients, he did not file for one year and let things “snowball” by not filing in later years. Well, the IRS caught up with him, assessed a big tax liability and levied on his wages at his current job. A levy on your wages is devastating because you receive virtually no pay. Attorney Patrick Sheehan filed the tax returns on behalf of our client and negotiated the release of the wage levy with the IRS.
