Did you know that the filing deadline for tax returns was not always April 15? The Revenue Act of 1913 set the filing deadline as March 1. The Revenue Act of 1918 then set the deadline as March 15. The Internal Revenue Code of 1954 established the filing deadline of April 15, a date we all know and loathe. Do you have tax returns that were not filed by the deadline? Call us, we can help. Call us before the IRS calls you!
