Unpaid Liabilities – IRS Statistics

According to recent IRS statistics, the number of tax returns filed in 2013 that listed unpaid liability totaled over $47 billion dollars.

After adding tax, penalties and interest, that figure skyrocketed to over $120 billion dollars.

The IRS filed over 600 million Notices of Federal Tax Lien and issued 1.8 billion levies.

The IRS also made over 547,000 seizures in 2013.
